Nyaptime was good.
Got back to the village, and handed the journal of the mage guy to the barkeep, who gave me a fancy claw as payment, and said I could take some supplies. Took ALL THE SUPPLIES, and sold him the wine back in exchange for mead. Moar mead~
The claw says eagle, owl, and I think owl.
Back down into the barrow. Eagle, owl, owl, OUCH. Stupid nyord arrow trap. Eagle owl bear? Okay, through. Nice to know it was the right claw.
First room was a big trap. Draugr everywhere. Lots of gold, and ancient nyord arrows on them~ You'd think antique weapons would be worth more. When I got in, door slammed shut, pulled the lever to open it, attacked by a small horde.
Got a spellbook, though. Yay. Already KNYOW oakflesh. Duh.
Nyowwww. That water was COOOOLD. Dumped into water by a grate I trod on. Lydia laughed at my shocked yowl. I'll get her back for that.
Found some coins and a DWARVEN SHIELD. So shiney.
Yeaaahhhh! Locked door at the top of the shaft. Hard to pick, but I learned a few things from it. And there was a locked chest behind it with an easier lock and a magic item and an elven blade and cash and arrows. Eeeee.
Stupid skeletons. All standing in a pool of oil, with fire pots over it. Shot flames at the fire pots, set the oil and the skeletons on fire. Burrrrn!
Paused for lunch. Mmm. Mead, stew, elder cheese. And I found more ancient nyord arrows on the skeletons.
LYDIA YOU MORON. Charged through a door to get at a draugr, through a tripwire, knocked out by swinging blades. Good thing they were blunt.
I rushed through, killed the draugr, and saved her, but yeesh.
I found the key for the door upstairs. Fat lot of good it does me NYOW.
Puzzle time. Four spinny pillars with three sigils each. Where's the solution...
Through the door here is a room. Draugr dealt with, and lydia trod on a pressure plate.
From behind a bit of furniture, I saw a few walls move. Revealing signs!
Fish eagle snake fish? Let's try it. Step on the plate, and...
IT WORKS!
Hey, a draugr. Eat arrows, sucker!
More Lydiocy to come. Smacked me with a door AGAIN!
And a door. Stairs down...
Big room. Skeletons. Target practice time?
Okay, skeletons, draugr, bigger draugr, and someone like the tough guy from the first barrow. Lots of targets for my arrows, some not even aware of me. The big guy wasn't so tough after a few arrows.
He had the power of the Voice, though, so I Shouted right back at him.
Onwards! Treasure! Elven shield, a new spell, magical items!
Staff of furry? What?
Oh. Fury. Stupid nyord runes.
Dwarven. Armour. PAWSOME.
It even fits, pretty well. I'll have to alter it later. Mainly this buttflap.
Another glowy wall?
A new word! KYNE. I think it calms animals? Time to leave, this tomb is clear.
Back to whiterun, next. See if anyone knows any more about smithing stuff. Mainly this armour. My tail's sore.
Or maybe I'll investigate this island next. Saw it earlier, map says there might be a tomb on it.
Oh hey, nirnroot.
It's a cave, certainly. In I go~
Dead guy in here, half-eaten by skeevers. Ick. He had an interesting book on him about the legend of an amulet, too...
Whoops. Fell in a hole. Loot down here, but also spiders.
A chest! Trapped with a fire blast. Good thing I opened it from the side; singed fur is not nice.
Signs!
Left: eagle, fish.
Right: fish, snake.
Draugr in water.
Soul gem on an obvious pressure plate. Grab it, sidestep, dodged the trap. Yesss.
Oh shit. Solution doesn't work. Playing around with the order a bit.
Finally! I'm out! My paws are wet, though. >.<
Dead archmage with a riddle on him. Some loot. Archer draugr on a ledge. Fucker.
Arcane enchanter! With INSTRUCTIONS.
I hate nyord traps. Bridges with a fake lever linked to spikes. Swinging axe blades. Ugh.
And back out after looting the place. Secret door again. It's passed midnight, too.
